Situation & Task

In the spring of 2024, I wrote this song in Los Angeles with singer/songwriter KNVWN. I wanted to create a visualizer for it which encapsulates the theme of the song while adhering to my own personal branding. The visualizer would also double as the show visuals for the track for my live performances.

Action

I created a few scenes in Cinema 4D and experimented with some simulations and character animations. I textured and rendered the clips using the Redshift render engine and composited the project in After Effects.

Result

The video was an effective branding piece which was used across social media and also echoed the cover art for the track. For the live performances, this visual was a highlight and was a favorite among fans who purchased merchandise with the Under Your Spell logo that I had created.
