Situation & Task

While working for Unbridled Media, I was tasked with creating a dynamic 3D animation for their client Graybar. The client wanted to showcase the connectivity of their products by displaying it in an eye-catching way.

Action

I figured that showing the products in an actual building would be a great way to convey to viewers how these products are actually being used. I modeled the building in Cinema 4D and added icons next to the featured products. I wanted to add a voiceover to this piece in order to more clearly communicate to the viewer what the connections were here, but the client preferred that the video simply have music in the background.

Result

Graybar ended up sharing this video across their social media platforms and also use stills of this scene for product visualizations. Unbridled was also pleased with this project as they viewed it as a step forward for their agency, since they rarely ever utilized 3D animation in their projects.
